Digital & Online Media

Dealfind

In order to launch the online group buying website Dealfind, PMG developed a fully integrated media campaign that positioned it as the first of its kind to ever offer an ambassador program, in which subscribers can receive a monetary reward for any referral. The enhanced buzz and public awareness helped to attract an increased number of online hits, consumer subscription, sales and client partnerships. PMG positioned Dealfind and Canada’s leading online go-to source providing great deals for the consumer and the seller, creating a win-win scenario for both parties. We contacted national business, tech and lifestyle journalists who now use founders Gary Lipovetsky and Mike Tulman as trusted authorities on all-topics related to online savings. We also implemented an extensive social media campaign, through avenues such as Twitter and Facebook, driving traffic to the official www.dealfind.com website, enhancing the number of online hits, followers and fans. As a result, Dealfind has been featured in publications such as Calgary Sun, Toronto Sun, the Chicago Tribune, Yahoo News, MSN, CTV.ca and Breakfast Television Calgary, only to name a few. Dealfind remains as Canada’s foremost group buying site, holding its edge against competitive giants such as Groupon.

JumpWire Media

In order to launch JumpWire Media’s digital symposium Cross Media Toronto, PMG developed a fully integrated media campaign, notifying audiences about this unique networking event that brings together top media executives from 5 different sectors, including Motion (web video, TV, animation, film, DVD), Mobile (ipad, smart phones), Marketing (advertising, social media, SEM), Publishing (apps, podcast, magazine, book, newspaper, email, music) and Gaming (casual gaming, console, ARG). The enhanced publicity and social media outreach helped to fill seats and spur ticket sales, creating a sold out event. PMG contacted tech and lifestyle journalists across Canada, solidifying articles in publications such as Playback and Media in Canada. PMG sent out regular announcements on Twitter and Facebook, driving online traffic to the official www.crossmediato.com website, enhancing the number of online hits, followers and fans. The successful media campaign has set the stage for future Cross Media events, as it continues to travel to other cities around the world.
