Singer-songwriter Florence K has been nominated for the 2014 JUNO Award’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in recognition of her chart-topping album I’m Leaving You.
Sponsored by FACTOR and Radio Starmaker Fund, Breakthrough Artist of the Year nominees are determined by album sales and Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) member votes.

Upcoming, Florence K will be performing at Toronto’s iconic Glenn Gould Studio (250 Front Street West) on Thursday, February 27, 2014 beginning at 8 PM.

The performance marks the first opportunity to see Florence K live in Toronto since the release of her album I’m Leaving You. The album has already topped the Archambault Classical and Jazz charts, and features the new single I Like You As A Friend, co-written by Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell/Melody Gardot) and David Baerwald (Sheryl Crow).
Florence K has created a unique place for herself at home in Quebec and on the international music scene by consistently delivering fresh and original material through each of her releases.
Florence returns with I’m Leaving You, a highly anticipated album under Universal Music Canada created in mostly in Los Angeles with Grammy winning producer Larry Klein. The album plunges listeners into a rich sonic universe, where Rock meets Blues as horns and guitars are subtly blended together.
